On Thursday, May 21, West Oak Lane Charter School (WOLCS) will host its Annual Scholarship Fundraiser at the beautiful Historic Belmont Mansion. This event celebrates and seeks to deepen partnerships that enable our school to create exceptional learning experiences for WOLCS Alumni.
This year, we will also honor the legacy of Congressman Dwight Evans, WOLCS Co-Founder. Congressman Evans represents Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District and has earned a reputation as a pragmatic leader who knows how to put public policy above politics and make ideas matter. Throughout his public service career, Congressman Evans has worked tirelessly to expand and broaden access to economic and educational opportunities for all Philadelphians. All proceeds will directly benefit WOLCS alumni through our scholarship program.
